A Message From Director/Chef/CEO Dr. Jason A. Seidler, Ph.D., B.A.

Dr./Chef/CEO Jason Seidler attempts to bring advocacy, awareness, and a fresh focus on "Caregiver Stress & Burnout".  Despite his nearly 7 years of conscientious caregiving for his late parents who suffered through long terminal illnesses, the fact IS that nearly 3 out of 4 caregivers of the 54+ million families here in America involved in Caregiving are WOMEN.1  Please click on the above "A Message"... title for his article that specifically addresses the fact that American women need to unite to enact legislation that will emotionally, financially, and physically help them while bravely facing a dilemma of caregiving that can repeat old painful "parent-child" conflicts, but will likely affect them later in life.  1 U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Washington, D.C. and The Carter Center, GA

`Dr.Jason's Famous “I Made an  Extreme Country-fried Steak Sandwich-for TV Chef Paula Deen but I'm Scared 0thers Will Like It Too" Recipe

And Why A Florida Doctor & Chef Chooses to Endorse Her

Uh-ohh, I'm already getting some heat from my colleagues and University alumni about this one. The recipe that many of you wondered if I had the guts to print... Well, you may now put your fears to bed. Long after the nutritionists and dietitians have scattered, this is where accumulative sandwich insanity is affectionately embraced. Are you ready folks?..... 'cause here it comes!        (sandwich is to the right>)

Dr. Jason adds, “This has to do with the caregiver and caregiver-recipient relationship, lifestyle decisions, and 'freedom of choice' in the United States of America”.* That's a lot to ask of a sandwich. I suggest clicking on the blue title above, and I'll explain why”.

Women Caregivers...Is There Danger On the Road Ahead?

An ongoing thesis from Director/CEO Jason Seidler, Ph.D., B.A.

There's a lot of data out there.  But regardless of whose research you choose to believe, caregiving is, has been, and shall continue to be primarily carried out by women.

...Caregiving can proceed wayyyyy beyond stress!

Besides the mental and emotional toll, there's a very good chance the woman caregiver will face physical and financial difficulties too! This is true whether you care for an ill parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, in-law, cousin, neighbor, partner, or child. Women caregivers report that they often feel isolated. They frequently feel that nobody understands how deeply their role as caregiver affects their lives...and while caregiving can certainly be emotionally and spiritually rewarding and these women may feel needed, they also often have negative feelings. These usually include:

1) Grief over the loss of a shared dream.
2) Bitterness for being trapped in this role.
3) Resentment and anger towards the loved one and about the situation.
4) Guilt for wanting freedom.(Please click on Women Caregivers at the top of this article to read on.) This is important information for all women.

The arrival of Spring often provokes thoughts of "Spring Cleaning".  That being said, some internal cleansing may indeed be warranted by ns all...and since nearly 3 out of 4 caregivers are women, and the #1 killer of women is heart disease, we thought the best food for us to serve to PREVENT heart disease would be "important information" If you click above, we'll tell you which foods and why!

As We Welcome a special Spring, CLICK HERE For Food Information To Help You and Your Family Live Many Years Longer

We at CaregiverHelp.org™ Inc. welcome you to our Website and wish you a safe, happy and healthy Summer.  We shall continue to strive to be a "Touchstone of Comfort and Information" for the 54 million American families involved with caregiving.  My name is Dana Hale, Deputy Director on our Corporate Board of Directors of our Florida 501 (c) 3 Not-For-Profit Organization/Corporation.  Since our nation's caregivers often prepare a 1,000+ meals a year for caregiver-recipients, we shall also attempt to be the ONLY caregiving Website with a culinary edge.  Dr./Chef/CEO Jason Seidler studied and worked very hard to finally achieve his post-graduate degree of Doctorate in Philosophy, a Ph.D. in Healthcare Sciences to add to his B.A. in Culinary Arts as well as attempting to complete authoring his Caregiver Cookbook™ at his normal "snail's pace" of a page-per-day.

But we're getting this done.  Meanwhile, I've been journeying with volunteer Josh around the Midwest and  East Coast as well as our home state of Florida to visit with scientists and medical libraries to assist Dr./Chef Jason to provide you with the most important & current helpful information for you to use.  We hope you understand that we are not affiliated with any political party*, but we hope to bring advocacy and awareness for the need of improved caregiving respite programs at the Federal, state, and local levels as well as to provide support for caregivers and their families.  Let's proceed  to the "Super Foods" section by clicking on the above link.

*Editor's note: CaregiverHelp.org™ Inc. is a noncommercial, nonsectarian, and nonpartisan organization and corporation.  In addition, we are a charitable not-for-profit Christian-based scientific research organization/corporation seeking to educate all Americans regarding health, food, and caregiving through this Website and other educational materials (when we can afford them) under Section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
