"Pistol Combo Whiskey Down With a Shot"

This is another "Reward Sandwich" much like my special sandwich for Chef Paula Deen.  It is never to be consumed more than once a week (It'd be better if it was once every 2 to 4 weeks), and is motivation for millions of American diners to stick to their diets.  This "Motivation & Reward" method of mine helped me lose 107 lbs. in 14 months.

Ingredients

  • More pastrami than you can EVER imagine on a sandwich (it should be 3-4 oz by current dietary standards). According to Mr. Lavine, it is not weighed, just piled on.  My "guesstimate" of my sandwich is between 27-37 oz easy...)
  • 2 slices of toasted rye bread
  • A dark stoneground mustard
  • 4 slices of swiss cheese
  • a big ice cream scoop of grocer deli or my recipe for cole slaw
  • big kosher picker to the side

 Instructions

Start with applying the deli mustard to the toasted "Whiskey down" rye bread, and put at least a pound of lean "pistol" pastrami (gently steamed to warm) followed with the "combo" swiss cheese, and topped with the cole slaw ("the shot"), still topped with the other piece of toasted rye bread. Serve with the pickle. Remember to not consider this if you have any dietary restrictions. Please remember that this is a "reward" for 1-4 weeks of successful dieting.  This sandwich is not good for you, and I forbid regular consumption.
